The Hallowed Chamber of the Delta State House of Assembly, Tuesday, literarily erupted with wild jubilation as the Member representing Ughelli South Constituency, Hon Reuben Izeze Yakubu resumed sitting after barely three months absence from plenary.

Izeze, one of the most regular, punctual and vibrant legislators in the State Assembly, was last seen at plenary in December 2021, when the House adjourned plenary for Christmas and the new year break.

He was attacked by yet unknown gunmen in Effurun on 23rd December 2021.

Colleagues of Izeze, staff of the Assembly and others, including journalists covering the House were elated over the return of the lawmaker to the hallowed chamber.
