Senator Ede Dafinone has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hon. Famous Oyibo, the Delta Central Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oyibo’s death has been described as a major blow to the party in Okpe Local Government Area and the wider Delta Central Senatorial District.
In a statement, Dafinone said he received the news with “profound sadness and shock,” noting that the late youth leader was known for his loyalty, energy, and consistent commitment to the growth of the APC.
He highlighted Oyibo’s active role in mobilising young people and strengthening party structures across Delta Central.
Dafinone extended condolences to Oyibo’s family, the APC in Okpe LGA, the youths of Delta Central, and party members across the district.
He prayed for strength and comfort for those mourning the loss.
Hon. Famous Oyibo is remembered by party stakeholders as a vibrant organiser and a dedicated advocate for youth participation in politics.
His passing leaves a significant gap in the APC’s leadership in Delta Central.
