The Zamfara State government says ten persons abducted about three months ago by bandits in the state have regained their freedom.
The state Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Hon. Abubakar Duran announced the release of the kidnapped victims comprising four women and their three children and three men.
Duran disclosed that they were rescued through the peace and dialogue approach initiated by the state government adding that one of the released captives is the father of one of the 279 abducted female students of Jangebe.
