The Nigeria Police Force has unmasked the policeman who slapped a man on Sunday at Emouha Junction on East/West Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The policeman and two of his colleagues were involved in harassing other passengers of a vehicle in a video which went viral after the assault.
Recall that the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Okon Effiong, on Monday ordered the immediate identification and arrest of policemen in a trending video.
The affected policemen were paraded on Tuesday after they reported themselves at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, thereafter on his Twitter handle gave their names as Inspector Adejoh Siaka, Inspector Friday Obaka, and Sergeant Ndiwa Kpuebari.
He wrote, “Inspector Adejoh Siaka; Inspector Friday Obaka, and Sgt. Ndiwa Kpuebari from Rivers State. These are the men who slapped a man on the road in Rivers. They reported at the Force Headquarters today. Trial will soon commence. We will update you as soon as possible. Thanks.”
