Four suspected armed robbers were on Sunday morning gunned down by the Oviorie Community Vigilante in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.

NewsNet gathered that the robbery suspects had terrorized Oviorie Community and its environs before they met their waterloo on Sunday.

They were gunned down by the vigilante led by Chief Sunday Akpobi A.k.a, Escobar, during a robbery operation in the community.

Found in the possession of the deceased suspects were cut-to-size guns and other sophisticated weapons.

When contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the report in a text message he sent to Our Correspondent in Warri.

“I only know vigilante gunned down 4 robbery suspects that have been terrorizing the area”.
