Two persons are now feared dead following gunshots fired at them from a convoy while in a commercial tricycle in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The incident occurred Tuesday night around the Ugbolokposo/Ugbomro axis of the council area.

A dependable source who is presently making his way to the scene told NewsNet Nigeria that it is still not clear if the two victims were the only persons in the commercial tricycle popularly known as Keke when the incident occurred.

An argument was said to have ensued between the victims and those in the convoy before the shooting.

Following the development, some Keke riders were said to have set bonfire at the Ugbolokposo/Ugbomro junction thereby forcing vehicle owners and other road users to make U-turns and go through alternative routes.
