By Queenett Irori

A pastor of New Glory Revival Church Ebrumede branch in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state simply identified as Mr Asowata, has escaped being lynched for allegedly sleeping with a married church member.

The woman (name withheld) who is the church choir mistress and her children are instrumentalists confessed to the secretive affair between herself and the pastor after she became sick and started emaciating.

It was gathered that the woman, who is also a friend of the pastor’s wife, had gone to her village to carry out the necessary traditional rite of forgiveness and cleansing yet, her state of illness still persisted.

While confirming the ungodly act, the pastor who is married with four children explained that he had only slept with the woman twice in his house when his wife had gone to the market.

A dependable source who craved anonymity disclosed that the woman’s family had abandoned her for the pastor to treat, as her present health condition continued to degenerate.
