Popular Urhobo/Isoko gospel singer, Evangelist Jerry Ekpekurho, has regained his freedom from his abductors.
NIGER DELTA DAY reports that Ekpekurho was reportedly freed on Thursday night.
His release NewsNet gathered comes three days after he was waylaid on the Adagbarassa road and forcefully whisked away to an unknown destination.
The abductors first demanded N50 million ransom but later reduced it to N15million on Wednesday.
However, it was not clear if the singer paid any ransom before he was released from captivity.
A family source confirmed the release of the musician, saying he had reunited with family members.
The source could not, however, give details on how the musician was freed.
