The Chairman of Patani Local Government, Mr. Perez Omoun is currently in police net at the GRA Divisional Police headquarters in Asaba the Delta State capital for breaking into the compound of a serving Commissioner(names withheld) in the state and destroying vehicles as well as injuring one of his drivers.

NewsNet gathered that trouble started in the early hours of Sunday when Mr. Omoun, forcefully gained access into the GRA Asaba residence of the serving commissioner in the state by pulling down his gate with his Lexus SUV, after ramming into the iron gate.

He was thereafter alleged to have vandalized cars belonging to the commissioner, that of his wife and other vehicles parked inside the premises when he could not gain access to the commissioner’s bedroom.
