A Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State has adjourned hearing on the bail application of the Regent of Oporomor Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area, Chief Gabriel Tuduo, to January 21, 2022.
The 76-year-old Oporomor Regent was on Thursday, January 13, 2022, arraigned before the court for forgery of police documents and perjury.
The defendant’s lawyer had filed an application requesting the Court to grant bail to his client, Chief Gabriel Tuduo but Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court after examining the application adjourned the hearing on the bail application to January 21, 2022.
Regent of Oporomor Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Tuduo and others allegedly forged Police Investigative documents which led to their arrest.
The Regent was since December 2, 2021, remanded by the court at the Warri Correctional Centre on a seven-count charge of 21 years imprisonment without a fine if found guilty.
