After 4 days in captivity, the Vice Chairman of Isoko North Local Government in Delta State, Chief Frank Esiwo Ozue, regained freedom from his abductors.
Chief Ozue was on Sunday abducted by gunmen along the Iwhre-Ovie/Oviri-Ogor Road in Ogor Town off the Ughelli/Evwreni section of the East-West Road.
NewsNet Nigeria gathered that Chief Ozue was freed on Wednesday night after his family reportedly paid N7 million (seven million Naira).
In a post on his Facebook page on Thursday morning, he alleged that daredevil extremists, Hausas turned Boko haram kidnapped him.
He wrote below:
Words are not enough to Thank God for his mercies
Your fervent prayers were truly answered.
I regained my freedom from Dare devil extremists, Hausas leaving within us, Now turned Boko haram in our communities. Truly they are here.
I will do documentary on my 4 days in captivity.
