In his remarks, Mr. Kome noted that: “It is the season of celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who stated clearly in the Holy Scriptures that His purpose of birth and death was for men to have and enjoy life to the full, therefore as Christian faithful, it is eminent on us to support those around we can and spread the love that accompanies this season into every home as best possible”.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the community men and women leaders who were full of gratitude acknowledged that the benevolence of the Chairman, Kome Support Group, Mr. Oghenekome Okpobor, has been unprecedented among his people.

They commended him for his sustained support to their wellbeing.

“Day after day, moments after moments, Mr. Kome keeps putting smiles on our faces when we least expect. He not only celebrates each season with us but also helps us with means to celebrate. We are proud of him as a son and wish others will emulate his kind gestures towards the community.”
