Gov Oborevwori to declare open 2-day ‘Maiden Re-union & Business Summit’ by Sapele Memories And Development Foundation

Sapele, headquarters of Sapele Local Government Area in Delta State will be agog come September 27 and 28, 2024, when all sundry come together from far and near to meet minds as a way of giving back to Sapele what was given to them with lots of development and fun.

The two-day event tagged ‘Maiden Re-union & Business Summit’ is being organised by the Sapele Memories And Development Foundation.

The Chairman of the Publicity Sub-Committee for the event, Godwin Dudu-Orumen, Esq, in a statement, said Sapele Athletic Club in Sapele is the venue for the two-day tightly well-packaged programs.

Delta State Governor, Elder Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is expected to declare the event open on the first day 27th of September.

It will feature, amongst others, a Business Summit, with the topic, “UNLOCKING THE INVESTMENT POTENTIALS lN SAPELE,” to be moderated by Delta State Higher Education Commissioner, Professor Nyerhovwo Tonukari and Nkoyo Egbedi.

The Lead discussants include David lweta, Godwin Ebosa, Matthew Edevbie, Frank lkejija, and Moses Akpobasah.

To climax the two-day celebration, there will be a debate, a tour to places of interest, a novelty football match, and a display of different African cuisines known to Safarians (as known), among others.

Preparatory to the event, a medical outreach involving free medical check-ups and surgery as well as dispensing of drugs, which began on Monday, September 23 at LaHospital Sapele and General Hospital Sapele, will be rounded off today, Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
