Rtn. Fidelis Adjogbe, a former Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to the immediate past Delta State Governor, has re-echoed the successful journey of the incumbent governor of the state, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori one year in office.
Adjogbe in his goodwill message to Governor Oborevwori to mark his first anniversary as the 5th elected governor of Delta State applauded him for his prudent and judicious use of the state resources and even distribution of projects across the 25 local government areas of the state.
The Evwreni-born politician in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state also noted the governor’s fair and equitable appointments of competent men and women with proven characters for the actualisation of his administration’s MORE agenda.
The governor, according to Adjogbe within his one year in office, has clearly demonstrated that he is a detribalised Deltan committed to sustaining the tempo of development started by his predecessor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa
“His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has done very well in this one year in office in achieving his administration’s MORE agenda to Deltans. The governor has a pool of projects to commission in marking his first anniversary and has also diligently committed himself to completing all ongoing projects.
“Within one year in office, the governor has touched key areas, which include the advancement of the education sector, healthcare delivery, construction of roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
“We are very grateful to God Almighty for giving us Governor Sheriff Oborevwori at this time for effective continuity from the past administration and ensuring the dividends of democracy get to all a sundry through the M.O.R.E agenda,” said Adjogbe.
