The President General of ECIU, Prince Kenneth Ukpebitere in a statement described as very deserved the victory of Governor Oborevwori over three of his petitioners on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the nation’s apex court, noting that God had destined the governor who happens to be a notable in-law of Evwreni Kingdom.

Ukpebitere noted that the Governor has clearly demonstrated in the last seven months in the saddle that he was prepared for the state’s leadership as clearly evident in his six years as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

He expressed the confidence of ECIU in the ability of the governor to deliver on his M.O.R.E. agenda in consolidating on the achievements of his predecessor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
