The immediate past Director-General of Delta State Teachers Professional Development Centre (TPDC), Dr. Tony Dibashi, has been described as a great asset to humanity.
A cross-section of dignitaries stated this during the 65th birthday celebration of Dr. Dibashi in his residence, shortly after a thanksgiving service at St. John Mary Vianney Catholic Church, Asaba.
In their separate remarks, the Director -General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Chief Patrick Ukah, the Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka, Professor Andy Egwunyenga, member representing Oshimili North Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Frank Esenwa and the ex-while Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa administration, Mr. Olisa Ifeajika and the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Princess Pat Ajudua, said that the celebrant is a blessing to Oshimili North and the state in general.
They said that 65 years birthday was worth celebrating considering the achievements of Dr. Dibashi, adding that it was a thing of joy that he was celebrating his birthday in good health and prayed God’s guidance and protection for him .
Ifeajika particularly stated that Dr. Dibash was an apostle of Okowa’s political dynasty, stressing that they would continue to identify with one another.
Also speaking, the Executive Chairman of Oshimili North, Hon. (Chief) Innocent Esenwezie , the Okilolo of Akwukwu-Igbo, Dr. Philip Agbeyeke, immediate past Special Assistant to Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on Teachers Professional Development Centre, Dr. Anthony Onwuka and Mr. Celestine Afokobah aa well as the Councillor representing Okpanam ward 13 , Hon. Barry Eziuchebuogalanya Okonkwo noted that the celebrant was a jolly good fellow, who according to them , had touched several lives.
Hon. Chief Esenwezie described Dr. Dibashi as a mentor to so many of them, adding that the values he has continued to bring to Oshimili North and the state at large was highly commendable.
The Oshimili North Council Boss said that Dr. Dibashi has always been a pillar of support to him since his days as a councillor, his previous appointments and now the council chairman.
Hon. (Chief) Esenwezie hinted that his administration was focused on the implementation of the bye law , saying that major aspect of the bye law the prohibition of things like ‘deve’ but established proper channel of community leadership as far as land administration was concerned.
Responding, Dr. Tony Dibashi and his wife, Mrs. Comfort Dibash thanked friends and associates for identifying with them just as Dr. Dibashi encouraged people to always put God first in their lives.
