Avalanche of testimonies as Graceland Zone of RCCG holds 3rd edition of Festival of Light 2025

It was celebration galore at the Graceland Parish of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Awor Road behind Main Market, Warri, Delta State, as the Women Fellowship held its third edition of Festival of Light, 2025.

Speaking during the 2025 Festival of Light, the Zonal Pastor of Graceland, Pastor John Akpala and Pastor (Mrs) Blessing Akpala said that the programme was aimed at improving the spiritual and physical fortunes of people in the Zone and beyond.

Sunday, February 25, 2025, would go down as a memorable experience for Graceland Zone, Warri of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, as the Women Fellowship celebrated the third edition of the Festival of Light.

The festival, which has the theme: “Season of Celebration and Jubilation”, was a beehive of activities.

Members of the Graceland Zone, particularly the women and invited guests, including the Police Officer’s Wives Association, POWA, and Police Wives Association, PWA, Warri South chapter, participated in an egg race, match passed by the Women Squad, parades, drama presentations and songs ministration.

The celebration also featured testimonies of miracles done by God in the past two editions of the Festival of Light in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

A member identified as Mrs Helen Peter testified, “My cousin’s sister was booked for surgery arising from a complication of an earlier major surgery, and the doctor warned that her survival chance is 50/50.

“Our challenge was made difficult by lack of funds to foot the bill for the surgery, but God intervened and supernaturally healed her after wrapping the festival of Light mandate around her body “, she added.

Speaking on the theme of the Festival of Light Comforter 2025, the convener, Pastor Mrs Blessing Akpala said that the programme was to uplift the spiritual and physical wellbeing of believers in Christ Jesus.

Taking her text from Isaiah 38:18, Pastor Mrs Akpala told the participants that it is God’s intention for them to celebrate his goodness at all times.

For his part, the Zonal Pastor of Graceland, Pastor John Akpala said that the festival of Light has been an avenue to showcase God’s goodness and power to the World as well as a platform for evangelism.

Some participants spoke about the impact on their lives since its commencement.

Special prayers were offered for those with diverse needs charging them to expect God’s intervention in the situations.

Cash and other materials, gifts were presented to people.
