The Executive Director, Operations, Delta State Internal Revenue Service (DSIRS), Professor Frank Onyisi Nwugo, Ph.D., Esq., alongside the good people of Idumuesah Kingdom (Ward 10) in Ika North East Local Government Area, has felicitated with the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 62nd birth anniversary.
Describing the Governor as a lion and a pillar of hope for Deltans, Prof. Nwugo, on behalf of himself and the people of Idumuesah Kingdom, congratulated the Governor for his milestone achievements in just two years of leading Delta State.
In a statement made available to the media, Professor Nwugo emphasised that Governor Oborevwori has drawn from his wealth of experience as a grassroots politician and seasoned legislator—serving both as a member and later Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly—to touch lives across the state.
According to him, the Governor’s compassionate leadership has positively impacted men, women, children, and the indigent through initiatives in health, education, and business empowerment under various state-supported humanitarian programmes.
Prof. Nwugo further extolled the Governor’s unwavering commitment to financial prudence, describing it as second to none in Nigeria.
“On behalf of the good people of Idumuesah, I heartily felicitate with our able Governor, wishing him many more years of fruitful and productive life, with God’s grace always at his disposal,” Prof. Nwugo stated.
“Your Excellency, without any risk of contradiction or loss of purpose, and with complete confidence in God, we are hopeful and assured that your second tenure will be a walkover by the grace of God. We are proud of you as you mark your 62nd birthday with pomp and pageantry. We celebrate you as our hope for MORE Agenda and a wonder-working Governor ordained for this generation,” he added.
Highlighting the Governor’s genuine compassion, Prof. Nwugo said Oborevwori’s numerous humanitarian efforts prove that his charity stems from true kindness and love for the people, not political gimmickry.
He also praised the Governor’s humility, godliness, and commitment to unity and prayer—qualities he credited with fostering the stability of his administration.
Prof. Nwugo prayed for more wisdom, divine health, and longevity for the Governor as he continues to transform lives across Delta State and beyond.
