2 newborns in Delta arrive before 7am on New Year day

Two mothers, Mrs Efe Otowho and Mrs Rosemary Famous have given birth to the first and second babies of the new year at the Central Hospital Warri in Delta State.

Both babies female arrived 5am and 6:15 am Saturday morning.

They thereafter entertained all present with their cries.

Nurse on duty, Mrs Evelyn Otovbo while speaking with NewsNet Nigeria said the two babies were special children as they came to this world on the first day of the new year 2022.

She said the babies were delivered smoothly without any complications.

For the mother of the first baby, Mrs Efe Otowho, her child has ushered in joy into her home while Mrs Rosemary Famous, mother of the second baby said her daughter would be given a special name.

The fathers of the children were not left out of the joy as they were full of praises to God for the safe deliveries on a new year day.

With the arrival of the first and second babies of the new year 2022, it is expected that the wife of the Delta State Governor would find time to present gifts to them.
