Bube-Dan Global offers thanksgiving to God for 25yrs existence, end-of-year activities

Dignitaries from all walks of life on Sunday joined staff and management of Bube-Dan Global Resource Limited in thanksgiving to celebrate the company’s end-of-year activities and 25 years of seamless operations of the conglomerate.

The thanksgiving service held at the Redeem Church of God, Rose of Sharon Mega Parish, Asaba also was for the Nkeki family to glorify God’s mercies upon their lives and commit the future into His hands.

The head of the Nkeki family and Chief Executive Officer of Bube-Dan Global Resource limited, Mr Ifeanyi Nkeki, flanked by the wife, Mary, led their children, staff and management of the Civil Engineering firm as well as friends and well wishers to the alter of God in thanksgiving.

As led by the spirit and in keeping with the spirit of the season, the CEO under the aegis “Nkeki Foundation” during the thanksgiving service presented gifts to the Church and financial support to thirty widows to boost their businesses.

The beneficiaries according to the pastor in charge of the Rose of Sharon Mega Parish, Pastor Steve Okegbu were drawn from different provinces of the RCCG, including Agbor in Ika South local government area.

Prayers were offered for the Nkeki family by an array of religious ministers who were at the church for the thanksgiving and other end of year activities of the parish.

Pastor (Mrs) Victoria Olumide, wife of the Delta Region 34, Redeem Church of God, Asaba, had in a sermon at the service entitled “Only the living will praise the Lord”, taken from the book of Isaiah, said “life is more than physical”, stressing that one must be spiritually alive in service to God and humanity.

Meanwhile, the Bube-Dan Global Resource Limited has held an end of the year get together for staff and management of the establishment, with a promise to sustain its partnership with relevant partners and other critical stakeholders in nation building and development.

The event, which took place at the Corporate headquarters of the conglomerate in Asaba was attended by the Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Okenmor Fidelis Tilije, that of Project Monitoring, Chief Anthony Ofoni, some Permanent Secretaries in the state and other top government functionaries, captains of industry, traditional rulers, religious and community leaders and other important personalities within and outside the state.

The head of the team, Mr Ifeanyi Nkeki said this year’s celebration was unique as it marked twenty five years of the company’s operations without any form of negative reports.

The CEO who spoke through a senior management staff of the company, Mr Samson Airiohuodion, noted that twenty five years in the construction industry have earned the company an engineering excellence.

While glorifying God for operating for two decades and half without issues, Mr Nkeki expressed appreciation to partners across the country for believing in professional ability of Bube-Dan Global Resource limited in delivering quality services.

He promised that the firm would remain focused in its mandate to deliver quality services despite daunting challenges, stressing that it is part of the company’s social responsibility to add values to good governance and sustainable development in the country at large and Delta state in particular.

On the presentation of awards to deserving staff, Mr Nkeki explained that Bube-Dan Global Resource would continue to encourage hardwork and excellence, saying that the award is to spur the workers to providing more quality services to the company and society at large.

The Chairman of the occasion, Andrew Odu, SAN, paid glowing tributes to the CEO of Bube-Dan Global Resource limited, Mr Ifeanyi Nkeki for the annual end of year get together for staff and the public, saying that such development promotes peace, love and unity in the society.

The Senior Advocate also commended Mr Nkeki for the gift items to deserving staff as well as the empowerment program extended to the public space and prayed God for abundant multiplications.

Some of the awardees expressed happiness over the gift items and promised to be committed to the growth and development of the company.

Ace gospel artist, Prince Gozie Okeke was on ground to provide scintillating music for the audience as well as rib-cracking jokes by a comedian who anchored the ceremony.

Twenty items, including seven Fridges, ten Standing fans and three Electric Iron, were won by the outstanding workers with Mr Chukwuka Okwirionu, Foreman Earthworks of the company going home with the star prize.

Over one hundred workers of the conglomerate had earlier in the week honoured with various gifts ranging from clothing and food items.
