The popular Shoprite Warri in Delta Shopping Mall situated by the Effurun roundabout is presently under lock and key.
Our correspondent reports that customers to the Shoprite on Saturday morning were deprived of their weekend shopping as the staff of the outlet protesting nonpayment of their yearly bonuses locked up the entrance to the shop.
Some of the staff who spoke with journalists said they were given only a thousand naira as a bonus for the past year which was against their contractual agreement.
Efforts to speak or reach any of the top management of the outfit were unsuccessful as those around refused to speak on the development.
