Gunmen at about 6pm on Saturday shot a man dead at Moses Mudi’s Street near Ugbomoro community Health Centre in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state.
The gunmen also injured the driver of a black coloured 4matic Mercedes Benz Jeep which conveyed the victim.
It was learnt that the gunmen waylaid the vehicle with Registration Number: GWA-46 BK(Abuja) and shot the deceased at the neck and chest at close range.
Details as to why the deceased was killed were still sketchy at the time of this report.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya promised to furnish Our Correspondent with details as soon as she gets the clear information on the matter.
