High Chief Aghogho Freeman Mac Anthony Afatakpa, is now the Iyasere of Orhuwhorun kingdom in Udu Local Government Area in Delta State.
Afatakpa, a renowned oil and gas businessman was announced and presented as the Iyasere of Orhuwhorun kingdom, the traditional prime minister of the Kingdom by the traditional ruler of the kingdom, His Royal Majesty Ighowho Takerere, Okaka The 11th in the company of the clan elders, women and youths.
The monarch, who extolled the exemplary qualities of Afatakpa, described him as a man who is trustworthy, firm and with the capacity to deliver any assignment given to him.
He expressed optimism that High Chief Afatakpa would work to advance the peace and development of the kingdom.
For his part, the oil and gas businessman, who was full of excitement pledged to work with the palace and the people to ensure peace and unity among the people.
He also sued for the continued support of the people to the traditional institution of the kingdom.
