Adjogbe applauds Oborevwori’s massive development strides in two years

Former Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, says Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has made a remarkable difference in the governance of the state in just two years of his administration.

Adjogbe, in a congratulatory message to Governor Oborevwori on his second anniversary, said Delta State, in the last two years, has experienced impactful and transformative leadership, resulting in people’s oriented projects and programmes.

The Evwreni-born politician and Rotarian particularly underscored Oborevwori’s social intervention and empowerment programmes, which have greatly benefited 266,737 Deltans.

He also noted several empowerment programmes, including the Delta CARES (D-CARES) Programme, Women Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programme (WESAP), Working Fingers Initiative, MORE grants scheme, MORE Biz-up Programme, and the Widows welfare scheme, to mention but a few, which brought succour to thousands of households across the state.

In the area of ensuring food security, Adjogbe commended the administration of Governor Oborevwori for the distribution of fertilizers to farmers across the 25 Local Government Areas of the state.

This, according to him, is in addition to the administration’s support to 2,000 MSMEs with funding and business support packages under the MORE Biz-up programme through the State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau.

On the ongoing construction of flyovers in Effurun and Warri, Adjogbe hailed the bold development initiative of the governor, which, when completed, will boost the socio-economic activities of the twin cities and their environs.

“I warmly congratulate the governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his even development of the state. He has indeed proven to be a detribalised Delta with a deep passion for sustainable development of the state.

He also thanked the governor for the timely completion of the water and reticulation system project at Unenurhie in Evwreni Kingdom of Delta State.

“I pray God Almighty to continue to give him good health and Solomonic wisdom to enable him to achieve his administration’s MORE agenda and the Renewed Hope of President Ahmed Tinibu,” Adjogbe prayed.
