Electric Cars in Nigeria: I still vehemently oppose Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce et al.

By Igbini Emmanuel

While they celebrate the launch of their first Electric Car assembled in Lagos to convince Nigerian Government to buy into this campaign for Electric Cars to replace Fossil Fuel-powered cars, I will continue to vehemently oppose same.

It is not in the best economic and political interest of Nigeria to allow this lest we shall return fully to the slaves days of our great grandparents in the hands of the white men.

I challenge Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce and those in support of Electric Cars to a Public Debate on this matter.

What can be worse fantastic Mumu or Foolishness than for a rich Crude Oil-Producing Country to be so excited to have Electric Cars replace Fossil Fuel Vehicles?

This is the reason a former British Prime Minister referred to us, Nigerian Elites, as Fantastically Corrupt.

Our NASS must resist this attempt to impose Electric Cars on Nigeria.

Our Nigeria shall overcome and must rise again.
