Lady murdered, eyes plucked out by suspected ritualists in Delta

Suspected yahoo boys have murdered a yet to be identified lady in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Ogwashi-Uku, headquarters of Aniocha South is an Igbo-speaking town and host to the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku.

Members of the community it was gathered woke up recently to see two eyes of the lady in her 20s plucked out by the suspected ritualists by the roadside, along Ubulu-Unor road, where her corpse was dumped.

It was further gathered that the community vigilantes called the police to the scene of the killing with their patrol van and evacuated the corpse to the community mortuary.

When contacted, the spokesman of Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the killing of the young lady.

He said, “The police were alerted to the scene of the incident by community youths who discovered the corpse of the lady with two eyes removed along the road.

“The DPO in Ogwashi-Uku who also confirmed the incident when contacted said that the corpse has been evacuated to the mortuary”.
