2022 Appropriation Bill: Delta APC hails Omo-Agege for effective representation

The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has hailed the leader of the party in the state and South-South Nigeria, Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, for his unequalled representation.

The party in a statement signed by its Director of Publicity, Nick Ovuakporie, in reference to the presentation of the 2022 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari, said that with the presentation, the well-being, effective representation and promotion of better opportunities for the people of Delta State will continue to motivate the actions of the party of Omo-Agege’s assurance that better days are here.

The statement noted that the 2022 Appropriation Bill which was presented on Thursday by President Buhari is positioned to consolidate the benefits of the 2021 budget of change and set the nation on the right path to a robust economy.

“There is no doubt that this administration is on the right track and given the right tools and effective application, this democracy will yield the Nigeria of our dreams.

“Governance is a marathon and for best results, it must be predicated on continuity and consistency. Thus, the commitment of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege over the last six years has not waned. The well-being, effective representation and promotion of better opportunities for the people of Delta State will continue to motivate his actions as we approach the 2023 general elections.”

Delta APC in the statement reassured Deltans that the administration of the party at both the state and national levels is committed to putting in place solid structures that will ensure that they enjoy full dividends of democracy even at their doorsteps.

The party further expressed optimism that Ovie Omo-Agege will continue to constantly review his performance to ensure it is up to date in addressing problems/needs of his constituents, Deltans and Nigerians as a whole.

Reviewing his performance in the past years as a Senator, the party posited that Ovie Omo-Agege would continue to create frameworks and action plans to ensure that shortcomings are made up for, considering that 61 years ago, Nigeria made a conscious choice to be free and uphold the rights of the common man while promising that Delta State, now 30 years old, its people will enjoy transparent involvement and participation in governance in order to enjoy the dividends of democracy to the fullest.
