The second edition of the Africa for Peace Sports Festival is scheduled to commence on November 15, 2025, in commemoration of the International Day for Tolerance.
This year’s festival will feature an exciting lineup of activities, including gym competition, Scrabble, snooker, table tennis, and mini football.
Additionally, chess and fuss-football will be featured as demonstration games, with attractive prizes awaiting participants.
Former Super Eagles player Edema Fuludu has been appointed Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) by Ambassador (Dr.) Sheriff Mulade, the festival’s initiator.
Fuludu expressed appreciation for the appointment and pledged to work closely with the organizing team to deliver a successful event.
The mini football competition will be divided into two categories — Under 25–45 and 46 years and above — with strict adherence to official rules of the game.
With a ₦10 million prize pool, including consolation awards, the Africa for Peace Sports Festival promises to be a thrilling and memorable experience. Registration is now open to all interested participants.
According to Ambassador Mulade, who also serves as Chairman of Delta State Mini Football Association, the festival will provide a platform for the Nigeria Mini Football Association scouting team to discover and recruit talented players for upcoming international competitions.
